What was done to your rig this week?

Caught the Bug
This morning I fabbed up a cb mount, mounted my tuffy overhead cb console, and drilled and placed my rear jump seat. I also mounted my axe, and placed my ammo box with a quart of oil, a quart of atf, and my jumper cables!

Jeepjeep75 has the same set up but with 35s and he had to trim his fenders. I personally like the look of trimmed fenders. but if you want to keep the full fenders thats fine it will just be a matter of time if you figure out you need to trim them for clearance.

I'm sure I'll end up trimming them, I had the same lift on my last 2 door with 35s and trimmed fenders, just a big gap between the tire and fender, but it should look ok with the 37s.

Looks great! Did you go with the 0-2" kings? How's the ride?

Yea I went with the 0-2" Evo kings. The ride is fantastic, a huge upgrade from the stock sport shocks. The plush 1.5" front springs from Evo's leveling kit helps to enhance the ride quality.

The stock shocks would bottom out constantly on Michigan's pot hole filled roads, but the kings take them like a champ.

Off-road on some local fire trails they excel and have the largest improvement.

To be honest they look cool too.

I've been honking thinking about doing this. I have a little whine coming from the jeep. I'm thinking it's the water pump possibly.

It also could be one of the idler pulleys. I had whine too, It was a tensioner pulley for me. You can use automotive statoscope to narrow down where the noise is coming form. Look it up on youtube.

Got a cover for my winch, synergy exhaust spacer due to some front drive shaft rubbing, and an ARB tire plug kit. Didn't want my synthetic line to get sun burnt here in the south.

I need to get one of those covers. I just bought my winch this weekend. I want tot keep it covered, especially here in the rust belt during the winter.

I like how it's not a bulky cover but I don't like that anyone could just walk up and take it. I wish it would have had a ring were you could at least run a cable lock through it. Make it a little harder to steal off your vehicle.

Sunday morning wheeling created an opportunity to add an upgraded tie rod to my priorities list. Luckily the park office had a spare used one on hand and I was able to drive it out/home. Image1493667875.474391.jpg Image1493667890.949065.jpg Image1493668004.745995.jpg Image1493668021.297733.jpg
