Temp sensor location?

Update.

Thanks for the advice unfortunately the pics I got did not match my jeep.
I however did find the dang thing tucked away near the firewall.
It is pretty close to the steering section on the the driver side,
on the rear of the engine.
Here are some pics.
This is a 2012 JGC 3.7 v-6 2wd.

Found mine in same place but I removed the purge valve by the ac hoses to get my arm in there. also took the lower splash shield off so I could stand in the engine compartment

Getting the connector off was no fun either. also I used a digital flex camera so I could see what I was doing. took off the inner heat shield by the shock and control arm but could only see the
fitting and connector so that was a waste off time .definatly go from the top

Just changed mine today. Really easy. Loosen the sensor and spin it so you can see the button. Use a flat blade and pop the red portion up. Press the release and your good.

I have no inner fender. 5 minute fix at most.
