Doesn't Aev ProCal lock to the vehicle it is first plugged into?
I think I saw that somewhere online.

You can unlock them from the VIN once returned to stock.

I think it is only locked to a vehicle if changes are applied to that vehicle. If you restore all the defaults to the vehicle (undo the tire size, axle ratio, etc), then it can be used on another vehicle. But the original owner has to be sure to restore their vehicle to stock before selling it. Otherwise it's a paper weight for the next owner.
