So a while back I saw a post about dull flat faded powder coat and it got me thinking.
Recently I had noticed how my bumpers were really starting to look like crap. Especially compared to my freshly painted fenders. Like most of us here my jeep is a tool/adventure rig, so I'm never really to agro about detailing it. But we do spend a ton of time and money in and on it, so it's nice when it's all cleaned up. So here's some pics I took this morning while cleaning the jku up in prep for an upcoming trip. All I used was a basic turtle wax paste. 5$ from the hardware store. As you can see the powder coat isn't perfect, but with a little bit of time and effort and they actually have some depth and now I can go roll the mall without embarrassment...

Nice! I typically wipe down my powder coated parts with WD40 and it's help to keep them looking good.
