Where did your Jeep take You this Week?

Sheep’s Bridge in Tonto National Forest, Arizona. Had a very fun weekend camping out there. Took the long way there, about 4 hours of trails to the bridge, and the short way out, about an hour of trails. Now I see what everyone is talking about when they say clovers squeak haha.

T-33 plane crash site

Our Jeep took us up to the plane crash site just past Lyons, Co.
Google it, interesting incident with a gloomy ending. Pics are the engine at end of small hike from trail's end. Plane parts strewn all around this area. Eerie!

Wow. Glad you made it. Did you do it solo? Would have loved to join but been busy. I still hope to run that this fall if my Jeep allows.

Yeah, we did it solo. Some "interesting challenges" but felt good. You get up and running and we could do this again. Pay attention to details on your end, you are all most there. Colors should be good for at least another couple weeks, barring a big storm of course.

I would like to take my parents up there this year. Colors certainly still have some potential. I have the engine all hooked up minus radiator/condenser. Wiring is good so hopefully will have it running tomorrow. Glad to see you made it there. Did you use a GPS?

Yeah, GAIA, thanks to your recommendation. Was great, exact.

Oh cool! What’s the trail like? Fire trail or difficult?

It's pretty easy for the most part, with some pretty great views of the Valley. There are some optional sections which are a little more challenging than Gold Mtn. I haven't been up that trail in a few years so I'm not sure what it's like these days.

Yeah it was easy, just a couple steep hills but nothing to bad. The views are amazing

Just got back from a 4 day wheeling trip. 2 days on Barret Lake and 2 days on the Rubicon. Rubicon is always a blast but really loved Barret lake.
