Trailer build

Yes I am, I have some Yakima aero bars that I’m going to use. I also have to build a Baja truck style tire carrier that I’m mounting on the front. I added a picture of the RTT from this year’s trip to Telluride

Right on! Only reason I ask is that I’ve been running your stabilizing jack setup for years and finally scrapped it for several reasons. The weight and time of setup, and the play between mount and pipe mount. That play made for wobbly, squeaky nights in the RTT. Redesigned to those crank down A legs. Way faster deployment and solid as a rock. Something to consider. Great Pic!!

Yeah I didn’t think it would be as wobbly as it is with 4 jacks, but that was information I didn’t have until I had welded them on and at that point I wasn’t cutting them back off. Maybe I can find a urethane liner of some sort to get rid of some of the play 🤷*♂️

Yeah, I didn’t anticipate it either, it’s not like it’s that rough, I mean we put up with it for years. I’ve added/removed/tweaked so much stuff as each year passes dialing it in. Part of the journey with these trailers to get them where you want them. If you do decide to change it in the long run here’s what I swapped to.
Two pairs of these:

Two pairs of these:

BAL 23200 Foot Pads for C Jacks https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004OI21MY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_p54UCbCH0RHC6

And a pair of these:

Thanks for taking the time to send me the parts links, maybe some day in the future. For now I have to finish a couple of minor thing and get ready for both, the Toyota jamboree (going with my brother in law in his 80 series) and the Jeep jamboree in Amarillo

No worries, just figured that way the info was there should you ever consider it in the future [emoji1303]
Would love to hear feedback and thoughts on your trailer after a double use. Figure that’s how ideas pop up that’ll inspire new mods! I still have a long ways to go to get this trailer 100% where I’d ideally like it to be.

Outstanding! Lucky bum! Packed all my camping gear in the 1st POD to empty the trailer for towing Laurie’s flowerpots down on the move. Have gorgeous weather today and I’m dying to go camp. Instead, packing and prepping. Adulting is overrated [emoji23]
