Mine did not kick in any other time than on the hill climbs where wheelspin was high. Eddie ran into this in Moab first time out with Jet and I think he only noticed it on climbs as well.

i haven't had a chance to use it offroad on climbs but i had both off on a dirt road and let's just say it was fun driving :thumb:

It does reset once out of 4wd or shutdown
