Just to clarify, the only things I ordered from extreme terrain was door. Limiting straps, a speed Dawg shifter handle, a hood lift assist, and a body lift because I'll concede to rough country for only that.
Just semigloss black for the block, oil pan, and covers. I'm keeping the heads that nice clean aluminum and doing valve covers and harmonic balancer gm blue.
Something that I found out tonight and was happy about. LS motors have no valve lash. It's just torque and go.
I did a little bit of wiring consolidation too to save myself time later. I got over half bagged wrapped and tagged.

I also stripped apart the new transfer case I got. I met a guy in Vancouver who sold me an nv3550 mated to an np231 for $300. I'm seeing that I got the better end of the deal because of how clean the inside of this transfer is.
Just got through reading all the way through your jk6 built, some damn good work. And I'll miss the extra performance from that orange paint
. I do love the blue though.
