Only a half inch but some guys are notching their frames for front D60's because of clearance issues
Completely FALSE information! Those that have notched their frames have one so because they've gone to a hi steer setup. This moves the drag link mount to the top of the steering arm and that's what causes the contact with the frame. The knuckles are the same so matter a ProRock 60 or 80. R&P and axle tube diameter have nothing to do with it.

Good catch. The statement regarding the notching I made is incorrect - didn't think that one through well enough and was going off of mental photos and Jeeps I've seen over the years - but the balance of the statements regarding the sheer size of a D80 front axle are correct. It's huge compared to even a 60 axle.
