Glad you got it installed. If everything was good before you installed the axle, It’s probably your castor. That seems too high, try bringing it down to 6-7.

Went and got the alignment done today. Figured I couldn’t trust my phone. Lol but cast is right at 7 degrees. Everything else is good. Toe was off quite a bit. Hopefully everything is good and no more death wobble.

Haven’t gotten around to posting pictures, let alone taking pictures. Lol but here are some. And search wobble came back.. went to check clearances and after wards got death wobble. Need to try and figure out what is going on with my transfer case as well.

Did a base coat on the tire carrier. Need to do a couple more coats and paint the brackets. Not wanting to remove them. Lol

One main shitty thing that happened.. night I installed the axle, tried starting the lug and couldn’t get it to start. Next day went out and threaded it on their so I thought. First couple threads messed up. Tried rethreading it. But had no luck. Contacted dynatrac and they were awesome enough to send me out a stud and retainer for the dynalocs. Not looking forward to disassembling the front hub. But it will be a great practice and learning experience.

Assuming you got new ball joints with the new axle. How about the tie rod? There really aren't a lot of possibilities for death wobble... Check all the ends of each steering component and control arms. Something's worn or not torqued properly.

New ball joints and new tie rod with the axle. My castor is right at 7. Need to try and adjust that. I went through everything and trackbar was a little loose. But thinking from the deathwobble. Also noticed the alignment specialist didn’t align the clamps with the slots in the tie rod. Rechecked everything and it’s tight. But can still feel the little wobble still. Gonna check balancing as well.

Then for torquing things down I didn’t have any luck. With the brackets being thick and stiff I have to wrench everything down.

Get a bigger torque wrench. The suspension NEEDS the proper torque once on the ground. A six pack of your favorite brew says your torque is outta whack on something.

So some updates. Bought new synergy tre for the draglink. Steering seems stiffer. Don’t have bump steer and don’t really have the wobble anymore. Picked up some rear evo d-ring mounts as well as a big bore. Can’t decide if I’m wanting to run the big bore or not. Bought it to have before the rubicon.. we all know how that went last time. Just need to do hydro. Just have a lot coming up.

Well some updates. Sent the big bore box to psc for their ported one.

Picked up a low mileage 15’ rubi case from motech. Got it installed and quickly figured out my tcase problems...

One of the noises was my driveshaft hitting the cable bracket.[emoji57]

Second one , was when I installed my traildash, I must have installed it as a rubicon. Which would explain it feeing like limp mode and making it act the way it was..

Just purchased the rest of my hydro kit. Should be here this week and hopefully get it installed this weekend. Doesn’t seem like that bad of an install.

Got around to doing my hydro install. Here’s a comparison between the factory box and the xd box. If you open all the boxes and hoses you’ll find instructions. The hose kit had a straight forward install diagram that helped.

Got the cooler mounted. Makes for a tighter fit putting on the jk grill.

Got the tabs welded. Decided to flip the bolt on the trackbar in case I ever need to remove it.

Overall it feels great. Big difference on the road and at faster speeds.
