ARB Fridges ?

I never seriously considered one of these as I figuring usage only on trips. But hearing that some people use them year round plugged in and using these for parties while not having to deal with ice and the water dripping everywhere inside makes one of these extremely attractive. Gonna be watching for deals on one of these! I've seen some that the throw in the insulation blanket for free :thumb:

I bought mine from 4WH (I think that's the name) and got a free blanket. I also bought the remote monitor and wiring kit. The monitor helps ease the anxiety of driving all day in the heat and wondering if your milk is getting warm. One glance and I know all is well with the fridge in the back of the jeep.

I can tell you from first hand experience that I would not rely solely on the fridge to keep your battery from draining to the point that it will not start.

If it is at your house use the 110 plug. If you are in the field start your vehicle every day or so.

Mine is locked in the Jeep and running 24/7 all summer long. When I get home each night, I just plug an extension cord in to take the load off the vehicle. I keep water, tea, and Gatorade in it all week (helps with all of the sports my kids do). Sometimes I even keep fresh food so I can make lunch or breakfast at work during the week.

Like others have said, it's one of the best purchases I have made.
