Well that looks like an amazing trip Ed. Thanks for sharing. My wife and I are planning a trip to either Chile or Argentina in July. I know it's their wintertime but July 2nd will be the solar eclipse and totality is from La Serena,Chile to Buenos Aires. Trying to figure out where to go now. It's one coast or the other. May have some questions for the expert! 👍🏿

This fireplace was cool; it heated both the main cabin room and the bedroom...this is the view from our bed

The staff made us a nice private dinner in our cabin on my birthday...I requested venison, and it was delicious

A large flank also going on the coals...simply seasoned with coarse salt. The lamb & ribs were also liberally seasoned with coarse salt, and occasionally doused with a mixture of olive oil, wine, garlic and fresh thyme

The wildlife and scenery was jaw dropping...and fly fishing in a raft is not conducive to photography...many times I would see condors, fox, waterfowl and quail while fishing; I wanted to fish my phone out of my pocket when my guide yells at me "cast to the left, big fish!".

There was an eagle that just caught a huge rabbit on the river side and we just came around the corner; the rabbit was still kicking and we spooked the eagle, who tried to fly off with the rabbit...he dropped it in the river...we floated by before I could get a pic.

My wife did get to video of a king fisher that attacked my mouse pattern...since it did it three times. Not sure how to post it
