What was done to your rig this week?

Got a great deal on a new in box JL/JT steel bumper. Threw it in without the skid plate, and chose to just rotate the sway bar motor. Worked great, and I live the look. Got a good deal on a cheapo Tractor Supply brand 20” light bar and couldn’t resist, so I threw it in there the next day. I’m happy with how it turned out.

Definitely looks good! I like the mounting location for your light bar. That’s where I put mine on my JKU!

Did a little change to the gauge cluster today. Think it turned out pretty nice.
Heres before and after

Whow that’s nice!

Thanks! I think so too. And really simple to do. I hit that silver trim piece with some flat black. So much better since I really have nothing else inside or outside the jeep that color.

Installed Delrin hinge bushings, polished the rear window, installed and adjusted new tube doors, door pin guides on lower hinges on full doors and tube doors, and Daystar hood wranglers. This weekend I will install 3 inch Evo Plush Rides front and rear, (good bye Terror Flex) and rewire the lighting system with a Trigger system.

Regular maintenance, oil change and filters. Added a fumoto drain to the oil pan. Bought new wiring for the 8274 to try and clean it up a little. 20191123_180820.jpg 20191123_124230.jpg

I also installed a Bestop Trektop NX Glide in black twill to replace my leaky and broke zippered Bushwacker top I had. Soooooo much nicer!! Should have went with the Bestop first. 🤦*♂️

Yeah, there really is a big difference. I went with the Quadratec first and it only lasted a year before three of the zippers failed. That twill fabrics is so much quieter too.

Oh yes!! My Bushwacker made it close to a year but the last 3 months I have had torn zippers. Very happy with the Glide so far. I love not having any zippers.
