I’ve never understood it. For DC’s entire career he’s been the laughing stock or whipping boy for these dumb writers. He always got booed when walking in, no one gave him any credit. And here we go again. This loss and they start tearing him apart. If he’d won they would say he got lucky. ...again. Lol poor fucken guy. I can’t think of anyone else who is one of the greatest of all time be so shunned.

True that. People who know the sport say he is one of the greatest of all time and it shows. Who else is as good? Stipe, sure, it shows. Shane Carwin probably up there. Cain Velasquez? Maybe. Those two and Stipe also have a lot less fights than DC does. To have 20 plus fights and only two loses is pretty great.

And WTF is this Abu Dhabi business. Who buys these fights? It started like at 8 or 9 this morning. I got home at 2 and it’s already over. lol

Party I was at had the Canelo fight on... it was Rocky VI - Mexican Rocky vs The Russian and the Russian got KO’d with a 1-2 punch in the 11th... He Took a nap on the Ropes.

I was out on fordyce yesterday and wasn’t home to get the fight. Kind of glad now. I would have been pissed. Horrible stoppage from what I’ve seen. Everyone knows the Diaz face gets cut to shot with the first punch.

Stoppage sucked but was the right call... Diaz cut man did a good job, but he was opened up bad and a risk of some permanent damage. Nice card all the way around.

All that scar tissue. He cuts easy and bleeds every fight. I was/am pissed they stopped the fight. Good card though.

Lol the cuts were nasty. He got a boat load of stitches. Bet it still sells more than the next pay per view fight. I would get it to see Holloway but that’s it.

What did you think? Unanimous decision was questionable. Split maybe. But Reyes won that fight in my eyes.

This should have been a ESPN fight. Only reason for the ppv was for Jones. Wasn’t worth it. Good fights but damn, espn and ufc need to pull their head out. 65 bucks per fight for a shitty streaming service. I won’t be re upping my contract next year.

I think Reyes won. I also Thiago beat jones but I guess I’m not as smart as the judges. :thinking:

I could maybe see split but jones didn’t do anything in the fight really. You could say he took him down but they were hardly takedowns.

As for the $65, yeah that’s bs. I would rather cancel my directv and buy these once a month though. There is nothing on tv anymore.

Fights were the sole reason why I had TV service. Once UFC teamed up with ESPN I signed up with espn+ and canceled everything else.

It’s like trying to watch porn with dial up AOL. Worthless

I agree. Sucks sometimes. Usually is worst on fight night. I watch Syracuse on espn+ too and it never has to buffer.
