Glad you and the family are OK. Hopefully it's resolved quickly. I believe that's common in an effort to not be fully responsible. My ex pulled out in front of a speeding car at a blind intersection. After investigation I believe it turned out to be 51/49 her fault. Had they not been speeding if could have been avoided. Could be wrong though. Hopefully Neil will chime in he knows a little bit about this stuff...haha.

Edit: We received letters from the other driver's attorney for about a year after. What ever you do DO NOT respond to them. Instruct your insurance not to share your info either. It was one of those fly by night injury attorneys. You pay for insurance to take care of the other parties medical expenses not get sued for it.

California drivers are a special breed! Glad you're all okay. Leaving California for a week and being back really made me realize how much people suck out here.
