Crankshaft position sensor YJ.

I replace my CPS three times with different CPS, and after turning on the YJ again, the engine starting shacking, so I took the old one and put it on. My YJ sometimes turn on sometimes don't, it shuts off while driving and wastes a lot of gas. What could I being doing wrong?

Go through the basic diagnostic checks first. Are you getting spark and fuel?

Yes, I use the car every day, just happen to shut off sometimes, and doesn't turn on sometimes.
When does not even crank I put in in neutral and turn right away

Sounds like a neutral safety switch problem.

I got the switch already, that's what I got from two mechanics. But I don't trust mechanic a lot.

So, I did change my NSS, and haven't got the issue anymore. Thanks guys
