Mushy brake pedal after install 8.8 with disc

What's the fix to get firm brake pedal on 1987 YJ with 8.8 and disc rear brakes ? I tried removing the plunger and spring on prop valve already . No difference at all .

Bleed the brakes. Make sure you have ha hose going from the bleeder into a container that has some of the old brake fluid in it.

If that doesn't work you've got a leak or a failed brake line.
 
I had an 8.8 setup on my old Cherokee and had the same issue. In my case, one of the calipers was faulty. Replaced both sides with fresh new ones and the pedal was solid again after bleeding. Very frustrating issue though!
