Went up and ran the rubicon with Ben and his wife Alex yesterday. Was a fun day with perfect weather and wasn’t too busy for a Saturday. Here are some pictures that I have.

Great shots, especially that front flex on that drop. Did they clear out the trail that much?

This is the easiest it’s been in the six years I’ve been running it. Both jamborees have recently been through though. They usually stack a lot of rocks during those.

So after that run, shouldn't they have to unstack that shit? That seems like bullshit. Leave it like you found it, right?

Thanks for sharing the pics Adam, great time with you guys. I agree the trail was pretty smooth. Other than a couple times we didn't need a spot and never pulled a winch or strap. Which was ok cause then I didn't mess up my JL to bad with only 2" of lift. Plus we really made great time. Fun weekend all around. I really don't have any pics though lol

Awesome pics...especially the last one. I did the Jamboree last month, was my first time on the Rubicon. We headed out before the crowds on Wednesday night. Was tough but no idea how it was before. Heard they blew up a lot of rocks on Little Sluice a few years back. Was an awesome trip anyway.

They did but it got a little harder every year due to the snow and melt. This was the easiest year since then. That was like 7 years ago too that they blew it up. Lol

Awesome pics! Always nice to run the Rubicon with a small group or just one other Jeep like that :thumb:

Man, it's crazy how big these JL's are and this pic is a great illustration: Adam's JK is a built mofo on 40's and Ben's is a really nice JL on 37's but side by side they look almost even. Granted the builds are completely different, but still....

That is weird... It looks like Ben is running 40's and Adam 37's.

We should have taken a picture at rubicon springs but we didn’t. Ben and I were talking about that for a while when we were stopped. You could really tell the difference.
