And if it's overlanding it must have a theme ....

As said above overlanding brought us closer to the past ... our past on these places (the "theme") . Sometimes it was so close to the past that we were mute ... like those carved stones which language we could not understand.
Below clip is "hovering" among some interesting natural sites (sand stone strange formation, salty springs or salt mountains) situated in the central-eastern part of Romania but also showing some very old pre-Christian (rock-hewn churches) sites from times when Christianity was not welcomed on these realm but some monks dedicated their lives living in very remote and wild places and were we had to climb some sharp and rough terrain. These rock-hewn churches are unique in this part of the world and we have encountered them in the Balkan Peninsula also in other countries.

Hello,

early spring this year called us to explore some new and already visited sites towards the south of Danube ... enjoy Bulgaria:

Here are also some memories from our 10th anniversary Jeep Jamboree when we've enjoyed a great time out there exploring the fortified churches from central Transylvania [UNESCO world heritage sites] and which we connected as much we could via offroad (no ... Dracula was not home during our visit )
Part 1
Part 2

In the fall we had a colorfully experience literally in south-east Transylvania this time 🍁:

This time here we've left our 4xe behind and had some taste of some fresh new snow above 2000 m elevation in an unexpected warm weather up there ....(y)

Hi,
Transylvania was again the realm where we have celebrated our 11th anniversary.
This time we have explored during our two days a part of this wonderful province full of history & legends.
Day 1 - Szeklerland - History, Religion, Legends
(The Fortified Churches along Saint Ladislau's Route)
Day 2 - Szeklerland - Craftsmanship (Pottery in Corund, Aragonite Museum - ornamental carvings, Straw Braiding and Sewing - Straw Hat Museum Criseni)
Enjoy ☀👋

Thank you for coming back every few months just to pimp your videos. The forum wouldn’t make it without your participation.
First of all if you have a closer look my videos are unlisted on vimeo ... so pimping .... 😀 ... ; others' clips I have "pimped" here sir, of those which took part at these memorable jeep jamborees, organised in the last 12 years in this part of the world.
Anyway thanks for stopping by 👋....
