Wrangler Manual Transmission Unusual Revving

New 2023 Rubicon. When I'm slowing down, I put the clutch in to get out of gear and stop at a stoplight. As soon as I put the clutch in, the engine revs itself for no apparent reason. Anyone know what this is? Driving me crazy already, wasting gas.

I’ve had this happen in my JK. It was embarrassing to discover it was because I was catching the throttle with the edge of my big foot when braking.
