The deportation mission will be going for decades I bet, if the dems don’t stop it first. Don’t we have like 20 million of them?

I know it’s going to take a long time but the amount of money pissed away is staggering. 20 million is on the low side I’m afraid its at least double if not triple that. The border has been essentially open since the eighties and probably before that. But still it’s not an infinite number so conceivably some day we’ll run out of illegals to deport?

Agreed. Yeah I think the high estimate is around 20M but who really knows for sure. There’s also a bunch that were given amnesty one way or another.

My question is what happens once all those illegals have been removed? Has any government agency ever actually shrunk once the original mission was accomplished?

Only the American male shrinks after accomplishing the "mission". Government is self perpetuating and always grows.
