Oddly enough, my grandfather owns one of them(not this particular one), and yes they are pretty common. The only catch is, you can not sell hard liquor. Only beer, wine, and the low % stuff like schnapps! I think 21% is the cut off.

Edit: At least in our county that's the rules.

We have one here in Brick, NJ. Only beer and wine. No hard liquor.
