Worry not. I'm sure some altruistic not-for-profit company will have a vaccine out soon. ;)

I personally am not worried about it. it sounds like everything is under control and they are taking the proper steps to make sure it isnt spread.

the problem is this guy boarded a plane from Liberia and got past security screening.

time line from last night's news reporting:

Sept 19 left Liberia
Sept 20 arrived in Dallas
Sept 26 guy goes to ER, he did not provide any information where he had been - they sent him home with antibiotics
Sept 28 same guy gets transported to ER by ambulance and is diagnosed with Ebola - this is when they discover he had been in West Africa

the same ambulance was used for those 2 days as well as exposing the EMT's - the EMT's are now in a 21 day home quarantine.

The news report first indicated just a handful of people this guy came in contact with but at last count they had identified at least 18 people, they are trying to locate those people and indicated a 7 day period to find them in case any of them are infected.

The world has to get this under control. Should have done it back at the beginning of it all.

Mother nature does have a way of keeping the gene pool strong  Creationist or Evolutionist, does not matter, nature has a way kicking ass like no Army can

I love how the so called experts are saying difinitivly what Ebola can and can't do. This is why Ebola exists outside of nature in only a handful of BSL-4 labs on the planet. (Less than 10) and there are at least 5 strains which all act in different ways. Hmmm I guess we should all just be sheep and believe what we read. Just sayin!!!

Mother nature found this idiot, maybe a faster acting strain would have saved the other 18 people from coming into contact.

I hope those first responders don't get it. Praying for them.
