Rausch Creek. 11/8/14 laid back run with friends.

Had a great time yesterday! Met kyle in the lot but my group had a few first timers so we didn't ride together. Next trip man! Your jeep is so sick btw.

Also spied a very familiar looking white jk, Met the owner and it was Phil from the Indiana jkx! Didn't have much time to chat but he was very nice and has a beautiful jeep.

Our day was mostly filled with greens and easier blues. I failed on yellow jacket again. I'm not lining up right at the beginning and it seems like every time I attempt it another group comes along behind us. I never want to hold people up so I backed out and let them through. Next time I'll get it haha. Ugh. Maybe.

Anyway had a really good time. I led the group the second half of the day and I really enjoyed that. We didn't even get lost!

Spotted most of the day for a new friend with a bone stock jku. Really made me appreciate the mods I've done on my jeep and the short wheelbase of a 2 door. He did great though.

Here's some pics from the trip!

Awesome brother. Thanks for posting the pictures. I need my jeep fix these days, no time to get out. Glad you guys had a good day wheeling.

Thanks man! Sorry you couldn't make it this time. It's my last trip till spring time. Hopefully we can get in on one of the wayalife runs when it warms back up.

Thanks George.
We will have to plan a spring run.

Yea prob not so I'm trying to get a few more trips in asap even if they are just way runs

How is rausch in the winter? I'm hesitant to wheel my jeep once the roads get salted. After having my TJ rust out I'm super paranoid to get my jk scratched up and rusted underneath.

It's not bad. It's kinda fun in its on way. You only end up running greens and maybe a blue but the snow and ice add in a twist. I will see if I can find a few of the old snow trip threads for you to check out

My big hesitation to running here (or anywhere) in the winter is the lack of ability to clean and repaint the rash afterward. My paranoia would be killing me that the winter salt would complete dissolve my rig before spring.

Sorry I missed you all.....I was there with 4 other jeeps. I will keep an eye out for future trips. ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1415743552.699258.jpg

Thanks for posting these up. Looks like fun! Like others mentioned, it's more my fear of scratching up the undercarriage and being unable to repaint it after the trip due to freezing weather. The first thing I do when I get home from every trip is slide under the jeep with some rags, cleaner, rubbing alcohol, sandpaper and a can of rustoleum lol. Call me obsessive but my JK won't meet the same fate as my TJ
