Hey guys, I need some help with my jeep. after my lift was done, a wandering issue is being bothering me, is like you can't control the jeep, it controls you. It tents to follow the uneven road. Jeep is sit on 5.5" and 37s, has dual fox shocks for the steering stabilizer bar. Alignment has been done, caster is at +4 I believe so. Any recommendations, a shop to take it to will be really appreciated....thank you!

Did you go straight from stock 32's to the 37's? If so the difference will be very noticeable. Sounds like you have the caster corrected.

As long as your not talking about being "flighty" and all over the road. It took me a while to get used to 35's and then the jump to 37's with new rubber took a bit to get used to.

Yes, I jumped from 32 to 37s, I sow online a synergy kit that people talk good about it, it's called steering correction kit , and I think I'm going to try that

It's not a dual stabilizer. The "upgraded" single stabilizers cause problems because they use charged shocks and it causes your wheel to want to pull to the left all the time because the shock is pushing that way. Not your issue.

If you have 5.5 inches of lift and you haven't done a steering correction kit yet, that is 100% your issue.

A jump in tire WIDTH (not height), if they are SUPER wide, can cause your tires to want to stay in the "grooves" of the road. But unless they are like 14 inches wide, that shouldn't you your issue.

Check your toe settings. Make sure they are within specs. That can cause what you're feeling if it's way off.

I would be willing to bet that it's your lack of a steering correction kit though if you have that much lift. Evo makes one. Synergy makes one. They all acomplish the same goal.

Does anyone in the area have the double D Pro installed? I had mine installed by a local shop in so many things look out of place I found screws that were loose and I believe missing parts the welds are terrible And I believe that some of them are off center so I would like to see somebody's and just see if it looks like mine?

Are you talking about the EVO Double throwdown suspension? If so, yes I have that system and it was done correctly by ORE.

have you tried taking it back to the shop and having your questions answered?

If he's talking about EVO mfg's double throwdown, I've seen a few done wrong, bad welds, sloppy alignment on the brackets, etc. The whole reason I disnt have it done locally is that everyone says they can do it until they can't do it right.

What about voids in the welds where they didn't bolted it on or welded it on and it's not flush to the frame?? View attachment 133987

I would be very concerned about that weld. Looks like bubble gum and the bracket should be flush to the frame. If that series of welds were to break, your handling would get quite interesting in a hurry.

Just curious, who did the install?

When it comes to wrenching on my Jeep, I am always an advocate for doing it myself. That said, welding isn't on my list of do-it-yourself.
