Where the hell is that? SE of Pueblo? Towards Trinidad?

Believe it or not the back side of Lake Pueblo. I drove on Red Creek road (for several miles) and came out on I believe 96. Heading back towards Pueblo saw this road. Went for a few miles and after the "water feature" came to a dead end to this.

Great shots! I love the shot of your buddy through the mirror booking it the other way.

Thanks! LOL! Pics never do anything justice. That was some dude in a mini van that came up once I went through. I stopped and waited to see if he was gonna try it...he did not.

I have a buddy who goes down there all the time. He loves it but mainly does dirt bike stuff.

I have seen a bunch of Youtube videos with bikes. Some pics with jeeps and FJ's. Looks to be about a 56 mile trail. There is a funny picture of a sign that has a car and truck crossed out but not a jeep.

Crystal mill at the bottom of the east side of Engineer Pass, wanted to summit but my wife said no

Had something to do with the big "road closed" sign I think. Who knows...

If you guys plan to go do this, please let me know, I would love to get out. I have had my jeep for almost a month no and not a single scratch, yes I'm embarrassed.

Headed to Garden of the God's this weekend. Any recommendations for easy trails with pretty views this time of year? There's the main Juniper Loop that is paved but would love to get off the pavement.

I've never been in the winter, but we've always just done the main trail. Cool spot and free!

The mount Herman trail is pretty fun or used to be at least. I'll see if I can locate some GPS markers and send them to you

What day are you going? Have you ever been around the area before?

Good for this time of year? GPS would be great. Thanks.

Driving down tomorrow, spending half the day, then continuing on to Canon City where we have a cabin for two night.

Not been to Garden of the God's in 12 years and don't know the area at all.
