I got out in Steel to get my CB antenna tuned using my SWR meter. I ended up finding a large open field that I couldn't help but explore :)

After 8 readings, I was finally able to get an even 1.5 on channels 1 and 40.
Now, time to explore :)

My new windshield decal isn't dead center and is bothering my OCD. How noticeable is it?

Caught the Bug
I think if you look at it closely you will notice but not at a glance Nathan I say leave it be bud

I barely notice it actually. I wouldn't worry about it...

PM read. I'll keep you mind when the time comes.

I didn't notice until you said something, it doesn't look off by much maybe an inch or two.

Thanks guys. I'll leave it for a few days and see if I can just ignore it. If not, what's another 12 bucks? LoL!

Steel did awesome on her maiden voyage! Held with the big guns just fine on 1s, 2s, and level 3 trails! Made some great uphill climbs, water crossings, and some awesome drop off descents. Unfortunately, my co-driver had to work last minute, so I chose to photograph the group during the run and leave Steel back at camp. Because of this, I only got to run Steel for the last two trails of the day when my wife got there. So, I apologize for the lack of pictures but here are a few. It was hard enough maneuvering a stock JKU through off camber trails, so I wasn't able to snap photos of Steel like I planned.
Steel ready for the trails with an excited but nervous wife. This was her first time on the bigger trails.

Taking a break and admiring what a beating my underbelly was taking ;)

Getting ready to lead the group down the last trail of the day, Desi-Way, a downhill off camber crawl.

All finished up! With the exception of a few new pinstripes and some skid plate love, Steel did Incredible. I had forgotten the challenge of wheeling a completely stock Jeep, oh but what fun it was.

The most important thing taken from all of this, is that my nervous wife is now absolutely hooked. She was sad to leave all of our new friends, and is already planning out what mods she is wanting for Steel. So, it was a mission accomplished.

If you'd like to check out the 500+ pictures I took of the other Jeepers running these trails, check out the Texas Barnwell Thread. I'll be posting them daily!

Look at all those sexy stock (ish) front bumpers on that last pic.
