Any last minute recommendations?

OP - if you were able to navigate through all that :eek: , basically the consensus is buy a 4dr Rubi. can you build a sport, sure but what a pain in the ass that is. Buy something that is going to exceed your expectations! Buy something that you can grow into and not out of. i have a 4dr sport and am going to spend the better part of 2 years just making it as capable as a rubi... (and will still not have the same t-case)

hey man you arnt alone i have a stock sahara and my dad says i cant do any mods until its paid for in two years

lol thats awesome yeah my father thinks that it will be a waste of money and it will loose all of its practicality and i respect him and his opinions but its been my dream to buy and build my own jeep since i was in pretty much the 5th grade. but i do understand that all that is incredibly expensive especially my plans im just going to have to be patient and commit

Well, I have a wife and two kids. What I thought was going to be Jeep mod money has to go to uncle sam for 2012 taxes. :eek: So now I am kind of back to square one. :grayno:

My children's college fund, a roof or mods. Wifey and reason say fund 1 - 2 and save for 3.

Did I mention I HATE uncle sam!!!!:mad:

lol being 18 I don't have to worry much about taxes and makes it easier to save

Hey guys this is what I ended up getting. I got them down to $32k for this fully loaded 2 dr Rubi and I know that goes against everything you guys said but I don't have any kids and am rarely hauling people around everywhere. However, my girl has a larger SUV with plenty of room if its ever a necessity. Here's pics. Hope you guys like. So far I'm as happy as could be and really like the look of the 2dr vs the 4dr. Thanks for all the input. I was trying to keep up with every post yesterday but was driving and then on the lot so it was hard. One question I do have tho is that it came with the Uconnect 430 but after looking at the owners manual it doesn't have Uconnect phone which makes no since to me after they told me at the dealership yesterday that it would connect. Any ideas there? This is my 2 nd jeep wrangler out of 3 cars. My first was a 2 dr 97 model that I got in 2000 with 25k miles for 10.5k. My how the prices have gone up. Pic will be below have to enable it in settings.

Nice rig! Congrats! Now I may behind on the latest but I didn't realize Rubicons now came with matching painted fenders and top. Never was a fan of that.
