I am actually pretty chill at the moment, the people who chimed in however may not be! If we are trying to help people in a large purchase as this trailer I will give my opinion. After all is t that what this is all about ? I personally have seen this trailer as have you, we both seem to think it is a good trailer. But. Given the name in the trailer it is shit! Fair enough !

Funny, I don't recall seeing anyone but you get "fired up" or wanting to wage a lame ass "forum war" but hey, clearly it must be them who's not "chill" here - LOL!

So that it's clear, EVERYONE knows how you feel about this trailer and NOBODY is asking for your "help". At least, not that I have seen.

Ugh, Moose you could have avoided all this useless BS you spewed last night by SHOWING us how great this thing is instead of TELLING us how wonderful it is. How bout a review of the damn thing instead of just a couple pics it of it? :idontknow: Why are you surprised with Smittybilts rep that everyone is skeptical of it? Oh well, you wanted drama you got it.

If I'm spending $6k on a trailer with a tent bolted to it, by God, it better come with at least the two burner Coleman. [emoji23].

In all seriousness, I would be more apt to consider something like this, at their price point, if it came with a few of these accessories already installed. Does the suspension really add that much value to it? Do you even need the suspension set up? Something tells me I'd be fine with just a leaf spring set up.

I would have to see one in person to really make an educated decision. Their video and Moose's antics in this thread have pretty much solidified my opinion that it is an overpriced trailer.

So here's my question. I spend 6k on this Scout trailer, but then I have to buy all the stuff such as the tent and fridge/freezer?

In the video, as it showed all those it said "optional accessories". I would think at that price they'd be included, but that's just me. Does it come with anything or is it just trailer/suspension/etc?

Just the trailer. All those accessories are sold separately.

LOL!! First off, there's a big difference between "chiming in" and getting "fired up" enough to wage a lame ass "forum war" and all because people here heard your opinion and aren't interested in your "help". Second, you've apparently missed the fact that this is MY forum - you know, the one I pay for to exist and allow guys like you to use for free. Me being able to "chiming in" where I please is a big part of why I created it. Of course, if you really want to get technical, a friend of mine did send me a message say there was some "douchebag" on this thread that I might want to check out. Although, I will admit that he didn't exactly tell me to "chime in".

Well...my day started pretty crappy after landing in Naples from Zurich and found out they lost both my wife's & my luggage...then on the 1.5 hour ride on the Amalfi coast my daughter got car sick and barfed in the van taking us to the hotel...arrived at the hotel and they lost our reservation somehow...but fortunately was able to put all four of us in a single room (of course the two bedroom suite with killer lanai overlooking the cliff that we prepaid for was occupied by euro trash)...

Then, my wife & I walked into the Oceanside bar, ordered a bottle of the incredible local white wine...killed that, now into my second large Peroni, eating most incredible fresh olives on the planet, and started to read this thread, which is putting a smile on my face...thank you all for making everything right in the world...

If you look closely, at the end of the pier in Almafi they are dumping Smittybuilt trailers in the ocean, knowing they'll rust through and disappear in four days... IMG_1903.jpg
