River rose over 30 feet in under an hour. All happened in the middle of the night. Director of the camp went down to one of the camps to get the kids out. He’s been recovered deceased.

It’s turning into search and recovery instead of rescue now. They have started releasing names of the deceased. Absolutely gut wrenching.

Shit just happened in the middle of the night. One of the counselors at Camp Mystic said she woke up to water over her bed in the cabin. They started pushing girls out of the windows. 14 inches of rain in some places.

Overnight massive flash floods in Central Texas. Young girls at Camp Mystic on the Guadalupe River were swept away. Some have been rescued. Not all. Girls that are missing are about the same age as my daughter. I just can’t fathom.
