This is what I used under the armor:

The installation of the dynamat was very easy because I didn't have to clean any of the surfaces because the jeep was so new. The carpet comes right out as well. The cheapest place to buy it is on Amazon. It's about $140/bulk pack. I used about 4 bulk packs.

Ok great thanks for the info! Could you possibly compile a list of links for me of what I need from amazon. I see they have dynamat tape and install roller do I need them? Also should I also use the dynoliner after? what is it for?

Thanks again.

Pm me your email and I can send you some links. The tape is useful so that the backing doesn't ooze out onto the back of the carpeting. You don't need that much if you are doing dynaliner as well. The dynamat mainly reduces vibration/road noise and some heat. The dynaliner does a better job at road noise and heat. You definitely want some sort of roller whether it's the wood or rubber one is up to you. Make sure to have a box cutter with lots of blades to cut the dynamat. You can cut the dynaliner with regular scissors.

I replaced all the battery cables with 0 gauge and used all JL Audio terminals. Crimped the rings onto the cables, soldered, and heat shrinked.

I also changed the stereo a little bit. I removed the JL Cleansweep and installed a Pioneer DEH-80PRS. It has 3 way active capability. I also added a third amplifier. I now have 1 amp powering all mids, 1 for all tweeters, and 1 for sub.

Over the past few months I have been cleaning out my coolant reservoir every few weeks. It has been getting a dirt/mud buildup at the bottom. I read a while back that it was an issue with the casting of the heater core or something similar with early 2013 jeeps. Today I finally drained all of the coolant and filled with water then drained again. I filled with water again and am driving around tonight with just water. Tomorrow I will fill with all new OAT coolant. I also found the source of an intermittent squeak that Ive been hearing for the past few months. Its becoming more frequent so I made an appointment for this Saturday at the dealer to hopefully get it covered under warranty. I know there is a 5 year/100k warranty on powertrain but who knows if they cover the water pump for the full amount or only until 3 year/36k. While its in Im going to have them see if mine falls into the alternator recall or the heated mirror recall. Lets see if they give me any hassle about that Genesis dual battery kit :yup:

noise that Im hearing for reference
