Caught the Bug
It's been a busy week getting the jeep finished up for a good run this weekend!
Went out this afternoon for a check out everything. Fisrt time I've stuffed the tires since the install. It's coming along, just a few more bugs to work out. I put new longer e-brake cables on today also. I had to move the Evap skid also.

Looks great! :thumb:

I would remove those mud flaps before flexing next time. They are easily caught under a tire when backing out...and rip / bend line butter. Yes, this happened to me, haha.

How did the brake lines work out?

Yeah, thanks. I thought about that after I did it, at least nothing happened. The brake cables worked out really well. They are about a foot longer and come with the springs you need to make the install complete. Still need to trim the seams!

So tonight I installed my 1.5" x 7" hydro assist ram to go along with my factory box I ported the other day. I'm running my factory steering box and factory pump. The 1.5" cylinder basically keeps the factory steering feel and doesn't lag at idle. I'm really happy with this decision so far. It drives amazing and doesn't feel twitchy even at 5k rpms and 75mph. I completed this hydro assist ram for right under $300. I'm going to add a cooler in the next few weeks. One thing I learned was even though all the air might feel like it's out it might not be. Found this out during the initial test drive and a bridge at 60mph, death wobble like crazy. I came back home and cracked the lines at the cylinder and let drip for a minute. Problem solved.

Got any pics of the finished product? This sounds like a pretty good deal for hydro assist.

Had an awesome break in trip to quack attach. That trail makes my Jeep feel tiny. It did great and we drove it home!
Really pleased with the setup.
