1966 pen ultra sport . It was my gramps and i just redid it . Cant wait to school the kids with this at convict lake memorial day weekend !

My first fishing reel was a Garcia Mitchell 308...I got it in 1965...it was my ultra lite trout spinning reel with 4 lb test...a couple years later, I got a Garcia Mitchell 300 for bass & pickerel. Both reels were made in France; I wish I still had them...

Thanks Brute we do specimen Carp fishing in SA, it's my finances hobby here's his catches over the last week.
Next week we'll be on my turf I'm more of a deep sea fishing person just short my Marlin hoping il be getting it next week.

Caught the Bug
Has anybody ever ate carp? Believe it or not it is pretty good. Of course, I would take stripper, walleye or trout any day.

Yuck, really? I try to stay away from a shit filter like carp, but I've never tried it. Only one way to find out I guess.

Successful deep sea trip 14 yellow fin tuna and 3 Bonnie's, largest yellow fin 22 pounds. Was only out on the sea for 4 hrs before the weather turned. Good trip.
