If you're referring to the wwp that may be true as they replaced their ceo and several execs after spending scandal broke. The previous one was Steven Nardizzi. I don't know what he earned, but the "perks" being spent were outlandish and the whistleblowers were internal.

The new CEO has vowed to make drastic changes, so time will tell.

I've regularly give time and money to habitat for humanity. Also given money to a few others when the CFC rolls around each year. But can't remember what the name of my last one was/is. (Combined Federal Campaign- only way places can formally solicit donations from military members, or so I have been told)

My wife and I donate regularly to ASPCA and some local shelters. Also to our Alma Mater, Salvation Army and Oklahoma Food Bank. It's heart breaking how many hungry kids are out there.
