Once again, SEMA setup a special area at the back of the West Hall and for people who like to camp out of their Jeeps. Of course, they put a big banner over it and called it, the Overland Experience. And, as you can guess, there were a lot of big heavy rigs of all types featuring loaded up roof rack, roof top tent, bed racks, trailers and of course, all kinds of nifty kitchen stuff. Maybe the best part of all was the stage they had filled with overland experts talking to themselves about why overlanding is so cool. Anyway, I didn't take too many pics of what I saw there but I did take a few of this Jeep JT Gladiator and mainly because it had a full size EVO bed rack, something I had yet to see.

Robar

The Enforcer
I see this as a possible project. Enclose the sides and front with plexiglass, enclose the roof, and design a rear gate. This would still be cheaper than some of the pre-fabricated caps.

Now there's an idea! (y)

Lost In The Woods

Caught the Bug
I do like the color, but the EVO rack just looks too tall.

Trust me, it is. I got the EVO full rack knowing that it was going to be taller than I wanted but I occasionally haul bigger items so I wasn't able to go with the half rack. On the plus side, if I add a 2x4 to the crossbars I can carry a ladder if I need to.😕
