Hey everyone, I've been building my jeep since 2011 when I bought my 2011 Jeep Wrangler rubicon brand new with 5 miles on it. I've always been big on the import scene and loved the lowered lifestyle and the hotties that came with it. But, I got tired of going to places and finding out they have a steep driveway or speed bumps . So, I switched lifestyles and car scene and got a jeep. Who doesn't love the outdoors and jeeps. I live in Tampa, Florida so we have the white sand beaches so a topless jeep just seems reasonable. I plan on taking my Jeep up north and also out west to get out and actually wheel harder things. The rubicon trail and moab are on my bucket list.

With less than 1000 miles I took my jeep out on its first adventure.

Did some wheeling at Hardrock when I was stock. posing on rocks p

Picked up little mods

Gas tank cover and taillight covers

KC lights

Add teraflex and tinted the front windows

Bought some procomp steel wheels

Cut my stock fenders and added a rugged ridge xhd bumper

Added a winch

Upgraded to 35s Toyo mts



Picked up a teraflex tire carrier

Removed my rear bumper and picked up EVO d mount

Got rigid leds to replace the KC lights

Add rigid leds for reverse lights

Sold the rugged ridge and got an ARB stubby

Picked up a Bullydog tuner to fix my speedo and other things

Added some more leds up front

More wheeling before I upgraded my suspension

Picked a rock krawler 3.5 X factor lift



Picked an aries trunk lid and a few more goodies for the axles to prepare for 37s

Just picked up nemesis front relocate shock mounts, RK Drag link and tie rod and waiting on artec hd track at mount to come in so I can add some steering goodies.

Question: When you were shopping for the Aries Security Cargo Lid did you look at other brands and models? I have not seen your model until this thread. So now I am between the one you have and the Tuffy Enclosure. If you did look at others why did you go with this one? There is about a $75 difference between this one and the Tuffy. Just trying to decide. :thinking:

The reason I got the aries is because I found a sweet deal on it brand new aluminum on my local craigslist. I think i paid 150 lol. I like it it serves the purpose of sealing off and hiding all my stuff also being strong enough to hold a lot.

I never really paid attention to the tuffy one, ive heard great things about it. its nice and does the same not sure how much it can hold but i think the aries can hold 250+ lbs. Also, its flat on top of the area and goes with soft tops or hardtops.

I know there is another company called backbone that I saw at Jeep beach last year.

My only compliant is that the surface scratches easy, with all the gear and stuff ive thrown on top of it.

Picked up a painted black hardtop for a steal couldn't pass it it.

Added artec hd track bar bracket, RK drag link, RK tie rod and nemesis front lower shock mount bracket
