Baby Seal

So I added Rusty’s stubby rear bumper yesterday and I have to say… I don’t like it. I rode around with a complete bumper delete for about a month and I kinda got used to it. I will leave it on for awhile and see if it grows on me but I am looking at the Cav Fab rear bumper fascia. All it really does is give you two rear d ring mounts and covers the open part of the rear. Might just leave the complete bumper off too. Any other suggestions?

Just got a call from the shop that all my parts are in for the lift and axel swap. March 17th she goes onto the lift to get some work done. I will have some Rubicon Dana 44s and wheel/tire sets with only 2500 miles on them for sale here shortly if anyone is interested. I haven't really looked into how much a set of diesel Dana 44s will go for yet. Any idea? They come with lower gears (3.73) but have the upgraded knuckles.
 
Better pictures coming tomorrow but I got my EVO rock skins and rock sliders installed today. Pretty straight forward install.

While doing all the work today I had to take the car cover off my other toy and while putting her up I just had to snap a picture.

Today I did a fender chop, installed the Quake DRLs and EVO inner fenders. There is a portion not covered because the inner fenders are for the coil over lift going on in two weeks.

Do the inner fender liners provide more space for large tires? Do they protect the engine area against hazards like salt on the roads?

More space:
Not 100% how much space the inner fender liners provide but they hug the parts of the engine bay pretty close. The space you gain is from the fender chop when you take out all the plastics connected to the fender itself. I would guess 1-2 inches maybe 3 in some places.

Protection:
They probably don’t protect from salt as well as the plastic liners due to the fact that these are vented up front and as of now have a massive hole in them for the coilovers I'm getting in 2 weeks. But, they are for sure better than no fender liners. As far as rocks and other “hazards”, I see no issues with protection.

I was thinking of doing this prank on April fools on its own thread but I didn't get around to it so I figured I could carry it on here. I haven't been getting a lot of likes or comments on this thread even though I am building a pretty epic Jeep (I may be bias) so I wonder if a title change would work.

If my guess is correct and the title change brought you to this thread you have to either comment or like this post.

I will have it lifted by summer next year. Still toying with the idea of 40s vs 38s and what I want vs what I need. lol I don't really want to do anything during the winter so it will have to wait until springtime.
I couldn't find a JL/JLUR with the ecodiesel back in november to save my life - did you custom order it? Dealer said '22 was the last year for the JL ecodiesel - by the time I did find a Rubicon Gladiator EcoDiesel the sticker price on it was more than what the discounted price on my '22 Ram 2500 cummins was (so I picked up the ram with the promise to myself that i'd get a JL/JLUR a little later). Also was told that the recon package was going to go away.
 
Looks good. You get through the axle break in yet? I just hit 400 miles on my Dynatrac XD60 / coilovers install. Gonna do a few more heat cycles, change the fluid and get this thing in the dirt.
I have only 200ish miles on it so still a ways to go. I live really close to work so it’s going to take a bit longer.
