Biggest 35s

I'm not buying tires, but I'm curious in what tire is the closest to be a real 35.
Some one told me that the Goodyear MUDs K are almost to be real 35s.
 
I believe there is also a Terra Grappler AT that measures very close to a 35" tire.

My goodyear 37 mtr's at 28 psi measure in at 17.5 center of hub to ground. True 35. I needed actual for input for tire size on the traildash.
Havent measured at lower (wheeling) psi but will be lower

28psi? Wow I think I'm running a lil to high on psi lol I run my 33 dura Ts at almost 40 :O
 
How does a 35 mtr measure 34.5 and a 37 mtr measure 35? Or did I read that wrong?
Most 35's mounted and under weight are going to measure around 33"
If you want a 35" tire, look towards getting a 315/70r17 or a 325/70 or 75
My 315/70's measure 34.5 mounted and on the jeep

Lol that's what I was thinking.
 
I always thought Toyo's were true 35's...guess a truck with 35s on 20's just looked more like a true 35 compared to my 35 BFG's on 17's.

Tires will measure differently depending how wide your rim is, how much pressure you have, etc, so let's not get carried away thinking that 37s that only measure 35" are only 35s. Your drivetrain will feel the difference.. Besides, tire size is relative.. There are certainly bigger 35s and smaller 35s, but I'd still just call them all 35s at the end of the day.



And BFGs run notoriously small


My ride- 2001 power wheel, 11" plastic tires, upgraded battery, boat sides, custom bumpers, tow hooks, new paint.
 
My Nitto Trail Grapplers measured out at 34.5 mounted on my jeep and at 28psi

Also my trail grapplers are 79lbs each as compared to a KM2 in the same size is 67lbs each
 
My 315/75/16 BFG KM2's measure almost exactly 34" with 29 psi mounted on my Jeep. My buddy has 35x12.50x17 KM2's mounted and his measure right under 33.5" with 30 psi.

Is this the actual mounted measurement or what you read from their spec sheet? I noticed these are also 85 pounds :eek: Personally, if I was going to carry all that weight on the corners I would make the jump to some lighter 37s that measure 35.5ish mounted.

Yeah they measured like 35 1/8 new. And yes they are really heavy and as smooth on the road as a cheese grater would be :)
