Center console removal

Ok I got the 4 bolt out but how the heck do you get out enough to change the bushing on the cable. Do I have to do something to the E break handle which seems to be hindering the removal of the console.

Thanks for the help!!!!

I was able to yank mine hard as high as I could and it came out that way. Others have had to detach to e-brake cables / assembly.

I lifted my e brake high as it will go, lift the rear of the console up about a foot, and then slide the console towards the rear of vehicle. You may have to move the shifter back in a gear since you have an auto, my 6 speed shifter I had to put in 4th for it to clear.

Hope this helps. The fun part is reinstalling the console 😉

If you have rear window switches you have to reach under the console and disconnect the wire connector.
