I did some scouting where the yote has been coming out of the woodline. Unfortunately he can take many paths. The entire ground is matted pine needles so there was no definite trail. And the underbrush isn't that thick so he could navigate many options. Regardless, I put a camera covering the overall area where he goes from woods to field. If it's not raining later, I'll likely put in a couple traps. One will have the mouse squeaker. He'll be close enough to hear it no matter what.
