Dana 30 to Dana 44

So I'm going from a stock Dana 30 on my 2012 JKU to a Dana 44. I want to know what other parts do I need for this upgrade and what Dana 44 do you recommend.

Recommend a PR44 from Dynatrac

The only parts you can swap over are the brakes and steering knuckles.

you will need new gears, carrier and axle shafts to start. if your new D44 is a direct replacement for a JK, like a Dynatrac PR44, Spicer Ultimate D44, Terrorflex D44, or Currie RcokJock44, then you will be able to reuse your knuckles and other steering components. since you have to do new gears in the front may as well upgrade front and rear if you haven't already. i would Opt for the Dynatrac PR44 with an ARB locker, Chromoly Axle shafts and stick with your stock knuckles.
