I use you guys for a ton of information, guess it was about time I show off what few items I have done so far...

first up I got some tires and wheels off my brothers jeep he totaled a few weeks ago, no one was hurt thankfully.

so to keep things from rubbing, the trimming started...

I didn't really like the way most people trim their stock fenders so I went a little different. and I needed to keep the stock side markers until I can get something new like the 3/4" led side markers. I like how it looks with some of the side left and hopefully that will give it a little more strength and keep if from sagging long term if I keep them.

Then I lopped off the front bumper and plastic welded the ends back in position, they aren't fully completed yet but they are good enough for a couple weeks till I get back at them

A few of years ago I also braided some grab bars for the front and rear seats.

and finally I added the molly attachment on the rear gate a couple years back. on it I store my parts for the hitch, a bunch of random tools and med IFAC.

sorry 'bout the lighting, I may take them again in the morning.

Its a 2014 I got while I was in Germany, its been everywhere from England to Italy and so far here from Texas to Georgia. One day I hope it'll make it out to Utah but that's a dream for another day.

I'm not sure why the pictures got flipped, ill search around here and figure out how to fix em

its been slow, but now that I am back stateside and can actually ship things to my house it should speed up. hopefully my brother gets his new jeep in soon so we can go on another camping/off roading trip in north Georgia soon.

Kinda cool your jeep started out in germany, welcome back to the states. Jeep is looking good so far :thumb: Sorry to hear about your brothers.

got a couple days off so I decided to make a few things I saw somewhere.

first I installed a cb radio, just need to get some more wire so I can plug it in.

then I made a shelf for an ammo can. I will make another to go on the other side. one for tools and one for straps. made a cardboard template first. traced it to some scrap metal and bent it to shape and welded it up. it was just hanging from the hardtop screws, but it was pretty flimsy that way so I added a couple nuts to the bottom and screwed in some bolts so its kinda adjustable.

finally a third brake light. This was pretty easy, just $10 in led's and some scrap metal.

This post isn't really a mod for the jeep, but it helps me make the mods so what the heck. Got a toolbox and decided it would be sweet if it matched the jeep, so I went and got some copperhead mixed up. took about 8 hrs of sanding but turned out pretty sweet.
