What I've got:
2009 JKU Sahara
What I'm looking to do:
Get 5 new tires and maybe wheels. And a small lift kit if possible with my small budget.
I'm in central IL, I would never do any hardcore rock crawling. But I would love to go out west some day. I'll be doing mostly trail running. Creek crossings etc...
Budget: $2300
I've had the jeep for a year and it needs new tires.
Needing new tires has now turned this into a significantly larger project.
33" or 35"...
New wheels or not?
Budget boost or full lift kit?
It's starting to seem like 35's makes the project more serious and more expensive.
I would like to keep the stock wheels... I like how simple they look but I understand that they aren't exactly wide enough for big tires.
I'm currently thinking 33" tires with 15" wheels. And possibly a lift if needed.
I'm ready for any pictures and advice that you all have to offer. I'm pumped to get the ball rolling on this project! As soon as it's done maybe I'll hit the road down to TN and check out the dirt devil trails (I saw some cool YouTube videos)
Thanks in advance for any help!
