You know someone may have brought this up in the past but it bears repeating. Theses stations should put the price without taxes then with taxes. People would be appalled how much of that is going to DC and their state capitol

I have seen gas stations that put a sticker on the pump that breaks down the cost and shows the multiple layers of taxes added. Usually consisting of federal, state, county, and city.

People get mad at ‘Big Oil’ when they should be directing their anger at Big Gov.

They should show the price without the tax (which you can purchase at that price), and then provide a option button in case you would also like to pay the tax.
