I have my steering wheel that is sticky…which is the best way for cleaning it?
It now appear shining…probably the dealer used some aggressive product…

I just scrubbed mine with chemical guy or griots (cant remember which) interior surface cleaner and a microfiber towel. The clear non-oily stuff with a light clean smell. It was absolutely disgusting after running with the top off all of last summer & driving dirt roads 3 days per week, looks & feels brand new.

Honestly just find anything that isn't a harsh chemical or oily and slick.

You could probably do it with soapy warm water (dish soap), just wring the towel out good before you start wiping.
This. You could even use diluted car soap with warm water.

To help remove residue and things a Magic Eraser and hot water used very lightly on the steering wheel can help. Don't go scrubbing away and treat it with a leather conditioner or something similar after.

Thanks for the hint!
just today I used a product that did a sufficient job…the steering wheel seem much more better but I have to understand how long it will stay like today…
