We probably should have done this a few days back when there was a lot more of the white stuff on the ground but we thought, better late than never and decided to take Jane out of the stable for a few shots in the snow today.

Absolutely amazing. Ive been watching this for a few weeks now. Someday for mine...this is a 73 with the 304 and 3 speed. Jetset blue paint was original however its now wearing an attempt at spruce tip green.

This Jeep was originally sold in Anchorage, AK and driven around up there for about 30 years by the same family. Shipped to New Orleans in about 99-2000. The daughter of the original owner, who my father and I bought it from, blew the rear end up driving from NOLA to Massachusetts. Now its the dedicated beach ride when I visit the parents every summer.

Cheers!

Thanks guys! We really want to take her out but we want her paint to fully cure before we do. Just want to make sure that we give it the best possible chance to stand up to chips and scratches. We still have a few other things we're wanting to do like reinstall the winch and work on her windshield frame.

Jane is looking good Eddie!! Are there any future plans?

Our plan was always just to bring her back to stock with a few modern touches. We do have factory decals and emblems that we will install once her paint cures and we may install a small lift to help clear slightly bigger tires but that's about it.

Oh, on a side note, I just got done installing a green lens for the light on the oil pressure gauge and the tachometer. Now everything looks factory again :yup:
