Hello you all! I just bought a couple months ago my JK RUBICON. Right now it is completely stock.

I am lloking forward to put on some 35's (BFG KM2 35x12.50xR17). It will be my first time on 35's, All my other jeeps have had 33's.

I am trying to decide if I will go with a 2.5 or a 3.5 lift kit with short or long arms. I really like a low look, so I will prefer a 2 or 2.5 lift kit.

What do you think will be the best to avoid any rubbing?

If you have pictures of your 2 doors in some similar configuration I will appreciate you could post them so I can have a better idea of how it will look like.

I have everything Rubicon Stock and I do not expect to go to 37's soon. I think I will habe to regear to 4.88. Does anyone think I have to do any other change to go to 35's.

Thanks fellow jeepers!!

I would go with a 2.5" lift and flat fenders if I did it all over again. I'm running a 3" lift with 35/12.5 r17. I'm also running 4:88 gears. 4:88 is good for 35's and 37'sImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1470629846.990570.jpgImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1470629899.585580.jpgImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1470629938.058513.jpg

Total of just under 2" of lift up front, flat fenders and 35's.

Save your $ on buying fenders and just chop your factory flares.

I'm on ~3 inches of lift, 37s with the Rugged Ridge Hurricane Flats. I ran flareless for a while but there is just too much mud here in Kentucky!

Thank you all for the comments and pics!!! Can't make my mind yet! Hahaha anyone on 35's has regret not going for 37's?

Having the hurricanes, I wish I would have gotten something thinner like the SRC or a tube fender. I thought I needed tire coverage when I travel for work.

Also... those who have gone for flat fender have you regret changing or would you do it again?

3in Plus rides, 35" Trail Grapplers and trimmed fenders.

Though my 35s do great, I wish i had 37s and before I cut the fenders I wasn't sure how i liked the look but ive fallen in love with the cut fender look and function so no regrets!
