Josh's JK build

First off, as always, thank you Eddie for this awesome forum. I've learned so much from everyone here... and finally I can consider my build "started" even if it's mostly in planning stages. Lol

Today I changed my diff's with amsoil 75w90 severe gear and installed 1.5" wheel spacers. Picked up a set of 4 titan spacers for a great price. Seem to be as well made as spider trax... haven't found anything wrong as of yet... will post pics as soon as i figure out how...

Next up will be tires and superchip flashcal which will be here Tuesday. Picking up some 315/70R17 duratracs in a couple weeks and when the wallet (and wife) allows, the TF leveling kit... then maybe I'll get lucky and find someone who wants to sell their springs and shocks. Then I get to test my DIY skills with trimming the fender flares...

Nice! Hey happen to see on the superchips site today that they are doing 50% off on upgrading your flashcal to a flashpaq until april 15th. good deal. so its 90$ to upgrade. I am going to do mine today!

Shweet! Good lookin out... I was just thinking about when they were going to offer that discount. Crazy, but perfect timing! Thank you for the tip!

HIlife- good call on the upgrade! Pretty easy to sort out, although a bit time consuming...still, well worth it! Notice huge difference in throttle response and power. Mpg isn't so noticeable yet but it hasn't gone down, so good there! Still avg about 20.7 mpg, so I'm happy.

Wrapped! Huge difference just from tires... they measure 34" exactly and we're pumped to 33 (ish) psi. Think I'm rubbing the air dam at full turn but had to get back to work so I'll check later... nothing crazy but it will get annoying I'm sure!

Are you still looking for some 2dr rubi springs and/or shocks? Mine are just taking up space in the garage. Let me know if you're interested

Springs and shocks should be in next week, but still on the look out for front leveling kit, maybe some 2dr rubi sliders???

While I'm thinking about it... will I need to grab a pair of sway bar extensions for a 2" front leveling?

I would get a set of JKS quick discos for the front. You may also need to get bump stops.

Your Jeep is coming together nicely.

Btw if you ever need help turning wrenches, I'm in your area and will gladly lend a hand.

I've heard chatter about the quick discos but haven't really looked into them yet... I suppose now is a good time as any! Thanks for the comment, much appreciated. Once the shocks/springs get here, I may take you up on the offer... I'll let you know. Thanks again!
