Lod signature stubby stinger installed

Ant's JK

I just finished the install on my new lod bumper. The install was pretty straight forward, it shipped with no instructions but thank God for the project JK write up or else I would of be struggling. The only 2 issues were a chip on the stinger and the holes on the skid plate that don't line up to the cross member. But all in all solid bumper.

Thank you, does anyone know how to secure the skid plate to the cross member or do I have to drill out holes

I installed that bumper on mine about a year ago. I did have to drill a few holes in the bottom of the crash bar to secure the skid plate. As far as the chip, it sucks it's not perfect out of the box but the perfect finish won't last if you use the jeep. Squirt a bit of black spray paint into its cap and dab the paint into the chipped area.

The lower bolt holding the skid plate in the pic had to be drilled into the crash bar. Scraped up the skid first time off road with it.

Thank you for the help the drivers side holes line up I'll just drill out the passenger side like you did.

Got my LOD mid width over a year ago and the skid plate hole didn't line up on the crash bar for me either. Figured they would have addressed it by now.
Your stubby looks great!
