That's what she said!....sorry; lame ass humor on my part LOL.

Definitely need to squeeze out what you can! I was also wondering....I saw you started with 2.5" bumpstops. Are they doable? What parts were you still rubbing? I think I remember you saying you were going to switch to 3" bumpstops along with the rockstars. I just looked up evo's and synergy's rear shock relocation brackets; Evo's moves the shock mount up 2" and Synergy's moves it up 1.5". If the 2.5 bumpstops are doable could you go with synergy's shock mounts and come up with the same amount of overall travel as you would with the 3" bumps and Evo brackets? Sorry, sort of thinking out loud here; I would also like minimal bumpstop to avoid losing to much up travel when only starting with 3"s of lift.

Lol, yeah. I have 2.5" bump stops that I had in the garage. Everybody is always worried about the fenders rubbing, but the sheet metal is the big problem. I think if I give up a ½" of up travel to gain around 1.5" of droop is a fair trade off. Soon as the weather clears up I'll tackle this project. I think my math is correct.

I totally agree its the metal tub/body that starts be a real problem. Thanks for the reply! Also, what size front bumps are you running? 2.5 or 3?

Still haven't done anything, but trying to plan out some goals for my jeep for this year. No particular order..
Trek top nx
Half doors
Rock hard Sports cage
Evo rock star skids
Dynatrac Diff covers
Gears
And that's about it. I doubt I'll get half that since I have to start on the other jeep. Still planning that one out also.

You need rock star skids? I have some for you.

Hey Olram, sweet build. I have a stupid question - what happens with your front license plate when you need to pull winch line? Does it just pop off, or does it need to be unscrewed?

I put bolts and little thumb screws. The evo mount had holes for a license plate. Here is the best picture I have. I tack welded the bolts on the inside.

Packed up for a trip to Estes park. Hopefully I can find some good trails. I looked into pole hill road, hope it's open. Trail damage gives it 3 jeeps out of 5 for rocks. We'll see. I don't know what else is close. Anyways, anniversary getaway with just me and my wife.

Had a pretty good day, that pole hill road was gated and locked. So drove down to Lyons I think and found a bunce school road, took some 216 road. Wasn't bad, didn't have any maps. Had downloaded maps for pole hill. Then drove back and relaxed at Mary's lake. Hopefully tomorrow we are going to look for left hand trail or castle gulch. Need to look them up.
